Grand Prairie Homeless Outreach Organization
Our designated charity for the first quarter of the year is the Grand Prairie Homeless Outreach Organization (GPHOO). GPHOO is a nonprofit organization that seeks to “be the hands and feet of Christ” to those suffering from homelessness in Grand Prairie. Established in June of 2018, GPHOO helps those in need find access to resources such as meals, health services or treatments, shelter during extreme weather conditions, and transportation to those who are left disadvantaged due to Grand Prairie’s lack of public transit. Grand Prairie Homeless Outreach Organization makes it their mission to provide assistance to those most vulnerable within our community.
There are so many opportunities for us to minister to the homeless with the help of this organization! More information can be found on their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/gphoo81.
